Gran Holding President Wojciech Szubert has been appointed by the Dean of the Faculty of Political Sciences and Journalism at Adam Mickiewicz University (UAM) in Poznań as a member of the Social Programme Council of the Faculty of Political Sciences and Journalism at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań.

The Social Programme Council is an advisory body operating under the Dean of the Faculty of Political Sciences and Journalism. The Council’s role is to evaluate curricula and study programmes from the perspective of labour market needs. As graduates of higher education often struggle to find satisfying employment, the Council — as an advisory body — assists the University authorities in shaping study programmes so that they reflect the expectations of potential employers, by supplementing curricula with classes that enable students to broaden their practical skills in particular.
“Additional classes help foster in young people the need to continuously improve their qualifications, to be mobile and capable of quick retraining or adapting to the needs of potential employers. Supplementing the curriculum — especially with classes that will help broaden practical skills, as well as provide the opportunity to draw on the knowledge and experience of WNPiD graduates — will certainly make it easier for students to enter the job market and lay the foundation for their professional careers. It is an honour to be part of this,” said Wojciech Szubert upon receiving his appointment.

The Council comprises representatives of business, local government and non-governmental organisations, including Prof. Jerzy Babiak, Jerzy Bartnik, Dr Tomasz Brańka, Andrzej Grzyb, Jarosław Hasiński, Wojciech Jankowiak, Insp. Krzysztof Jarosz, Prof. UAM Robert Kmieciak, Dr Andrzej Malinowski, Paweł Pyzik, Dr hab. Adam Szymaniak, and Dr Krzysztof Urbaniak.
