The Faculty of Political Sciences and Journalism at Adam Mickiewicz University organised an international conference dedicated to current non-European politics and the changes taking place in the world and its individual regions. The event, entitled “Beyond Europe: Politics and Change in Global and Regional Affairs,” took place on 24 and 25 October 2017.
Gran Holding was represented at the conference by Wojciech Szubert.

The main objective of the event was to capture the dynamics and direction of changes taking place in non-European regions. The conference also served as a forum for discussion between researchers, diplomats, and representatives of various institutions and businesses.
The event allowed for a better understanding of the various processes taking place outside Europe, while also providing an excellent opportunity for networking and the establishment of joint academic ventures.

The conference was attended by the Ambassadors of Argentina, Peru and Turkey, as well as academics from Poland and foreign academic institutions.

The international scientific conference was organised by the Department of Non-European Political Studies together with the Departments of Strategic Studies, Security Studies and International Relations.
The event was accompanied by the official opening of the exhibition “Iran — In the Footsteps of Polish Refugees,” which has been supported from the very beginning by Wojciech Szubert — businessman, creator of innovative solutions — representing Gran Holding.
